Background: Fae Kinnit grew up as a street smart tom-boy and only child of widowed auto mechanic, Ray Kinnit, on the lower east side of the City. After Ray lost his business to the bank, Fae nearly followed some of her school chums into petty crime to try and put food on the table for her and her father but instead decided to fight for the underdog and the underprivileged as a masked vigilante.

Her first major bust was apprehending the international sex slave pusher nicknamed, The Ice Man Cometh, when bringing him outside to the police from his frozen lair a news photographer snapped a picture of the victorious but obviously freezing hero, the headlines proclaimed a new vigilante in town and named her "Cat Nips". 

Some super heroes often see her as a menace because she doesn't just stop super villains, but goes after anyone who is corrupt like politicians, banking cartels, environmental polluters, and is willing to take down the whole damn system if necessary. In recent years she has preferred to team up with her roommate and partner, The Incredible Bitch, who tries to keep Cat Nips on the straight and narrow.
