Background: Ima was born on a small Native American reservation in the south. Her father was a travelling salesman who fell in love with the daughter of the tribes shaman. The old shaman did not approve of the paring and put a curse on the salesman to forget who he was. He developed a split peronality and left Ima's mother, pregnant, and alone. Unfortunately Ima inherited his curse and became excessively bi-polor.
In an effort to help overcome the damage he had done to his granddaughter, the old shaman worked up a spell to give Ima the strength of a bear and the height of an evergreen so that she could protect herself no matter which personality she had. In doing so The Emotional Wreck was born and she sought out the big city to use her power for good and discover her fathers side of her heritage.
